Weather Situation: A deep low pressure system is forecast to develop over the southern Spencer Gulf during Sunday morning bringing heavy rainfall to central districts of the state, possibly reaching intense rainfall locally about the Mount Lofty Ranges and southern Flinders Ranges. HEAVY RAINFALL which may lead to FLASH FLOODING is forecast to develop during the early hours of Sunday morning and persist through to the early hours of Monday morning. Parts of the Mount Lofty Ranges and southern Flinders Ranges may experience localised INTENSE RAINFALL between late Sunday morning and Sunday evening. A FLOOD WATCH is current for the Flinders, Mid North and Mount Lofty Ranges districts. Locations which may be affected include Adelaide, Whyalla, Port Augusta, Port Pirie, Clare and Maitland. The State Emergency Service advises that people should: ·       Don't drive, ride or walk through flood water; ·       Keep clear of creeks and storm rains; ·       Stay indoors, away from windows, while conditions are severe.   The next Severe Weather Warning will be issued by 4:00 am ACDT Sunday.
