Weather Situation: A deep low pressure system over Spencer Gulf is bringing HEAVY RAINFALL to central districts of the state and INTENSE RAINFALL locally about the Mount Lofty Ranges and southern Flinders Ranges.

INTENSE RAINFALL which may lead to dangerous and life-threatening flash flooding is likely about the Adelaide Hills. The radar indicates heavy rainfall may be occurring about the Mount Lofty Ranges and as far north as the Flinders Ranges.

Rainfall observations:   123 mm at Charleston, including 86.8 mm in 1 hour   112 mm at Lobethal, including 94 mm in 2 hours.   98 mm at Mallala, including 83.4 mm in 1 hour   86 mm at Redbanks, including 67.8 mm in 1 hour   65 mm at Kangaroo Flat, including 45.2 mm in 1 hour at Kangaroo Flat.   General falls of 50-70 mm at many locations throughout the southern Mount Lofty Ranges.   A FLOOD WATCH remains current for the Flinders, Mid North and Mount Lofty Ranges districts. Locations which may be affected include Adelaide, Gawler, Peterborough, Jamestown, Clare and Victor Harbor.
